I would like to say it's been a long time, but I think that saying it was a long time doesn't encapsulate the shear amount of time it's been since i last posted here.
I would like to offer you a bit of an explanation, for my... four followers... if you're still there. My last post here was in April last year. I had mentioned that things had taken a turn for the worse, however it was worse than i thought... i just didn't know yet. it wasn't long after that post that i found out that my mother had cancer. it wasn't long after that that i found out that i had gotten accepted in the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. Needless to say, the months that followed were hard and whatever free time i had went to caring for my mom and preparing for my move across the country. She had told me that no matter what happened i was to continue with my schooling... and i did. A month after moving to Nova Scotia, six days before the start of my new semester at my new school, my mother passed away. it has been a hard year for me and my family.
I am going to try and restart this blog, i miss being able to share my experiences with others. it may be slow at first, but to better establish myself as an artist and to become the artist my mom saw me as and knew i was going to be i have t try.
I hope that you'll stick around and see what i make now that i'm majoring in ceramics. i have a whole new palette of techniques and information available to me and i plan to share it.
